DevOps Engineer

Summary

Looking for someone to join a small team of dedicated folks at an established Portland-based software company. This is not a job in “big tech”, but is an important role with an experienced and innovative team. We build software that helps organizations manage large media collections. We have been in business for over twenty years. We have a close knit group of people that enjoy the work that we do and most importantly enjoy working together. We are not “changing the world”, we are trying to simplify a complicated problem for our customers and have a good time doing it.

Your responsibilities would include but are not limited to managing physical infrastructure in our datacenter in Portland, OR. Managing our cloud infrastructure in AWS. Working with team members to modernize and augment our physical and cloud infrastructure. Working directly with team members to develop and deploy new product features by ensuring that the infrastructure can support the product requirements. Working to automate and test the management of infrastructure and pushing to modernize existing systems. This position has a rotating on-call component that will be shared between team members. 

You should love the shell. You should have a working knowledge of, in no particular order, Python, Ansible, Docker, Git, Linux, Windows Server, Mysql, SQL Server, Proxmox, VMWare, Kubernetes, AWS, Tomcat and more!
