NetXposure has been hosting enterprise software solutions for customers across North America, Asia and Europe since 1995. While many DAM vendors outsource hosting services to a third party, NetXpress is hosted in NetXposure’s state-of-the-art data center, with NetXposure engineers providing 24 hour monitoring and Support. We offer an array of hosting services that can be tailored to the specific budget and system requirements of each customer.
Data Center
All servers hosted with NetXposure are housed in our data center located in the same building as our head office in Portland, Oregon. We use Cisco routers to provide fast, reliable, and direct connectivity via fiber optics at 1000BaseSX speeds. Our data center provides uninterruptible power, diesel power generators, redundant cooling systems, and 24-hour security via biometrics and on site personnel.
Dedicated Servers
NetXposure offers dedicated servers for hosting our applications. This ensures maximum availability and security for our clients, as well as the opportunity for complete client-side administrative access. Dedicated hardware also allows individual applications to be tailored for peak performance.
Monitoring
In order to ensure uptime, NetXposure has implemented a system through which our support team is notified automatically if there is a failure or degradation of service. This system provides us with a proactive approach to system management. Also, performance and functional monitoring is integrated into the application, providing advanced warning of any potential problems.
Transfer of Files
In the event the customer wishes to transfer the files to their own server they can do so with assistance from NetXposure for a fee ten cents per asset. Bulk rates available for large installations.
Storage and Backup Options
NetXposure provides a wide range of storage and back up options in addition to Standard Storage which is the basic and most common set up. These are outlined below.
Standard Storage
Includes 100 Gbytes of storage and 100 Gbytes of transfer per month on a dedicated server with 24 hour monitoring. Hard drive back ups are done quarterly for disaster recovery. There is no set up fee and pricing is $250 per month. Additional storage is available at $50 per month for an additional 100 Gbytes. Additional transfer is available at $200 per month for an additional 100 Gbytes.
RAID Storage
RAID Storage, or Redundant Array of Independent Disks, is a technology that employs the simultaneous use of multiple hard disk drives to achieve greater levels of performance, reliability, and/or larger data volume sizes. This system provides better reliability against hardware failure, keeping your system online and your data intact, as failed disks are simply replaced without any downtime. There is a set up fee of $995 and pricing is available at $100 per month for 50 Gbytes. Transfer is available at $250 per month for 100 Gbytes.
Historic Backups
In addition to either Standard or RAID Storage options, you also have the option for NetXposure to provide historic backups in cases of accidental deletion of data. Historic backups can be done daily, weekly, monthly, or at other increments. This option also requires a set up fee + an Additional Feebased on the frequency of the backups and the total size of the repository:
Set up fee = $995
Additional Fee Formula = size of repository limit (GB) x the number of back ups per month. Backups are priced at $50 per 100 GB For example, a 100 GB repository backed up once a week (4 times per month) would be…

Amazon S3 Option
NetXposure can integrate with the offsite storage service provided by Amazon. NetXposure charges a $995 set up fee to integrate with this

DLT Tape Backup Option
DLT Tape backup provides the highest level of reliability. DLT tape is superior to other tape systems because of the speed which ensures that your backups are reliable and complete in the shortest amount of time. The main benefit of adding the DLT Tape Backup Option is to provide offsite storage for maximum insurance against data-loss. Incremental copies of your data are written to tape, and those tapes are then send to a second location. This service requires an Iron Mountain account to manage tape storage. Pricing starts at $995 but varies considerably per installation. A specific quote will be provided upon request.
Hardware: Distributed Architecture Option
While NetXposure solutions are built to run on a single dedicated server, performance and speed can significantly enhanced if various components of the solution are distributed on multiple servers. Pricing for distributed systems can vary greatly depending on the number and quality of the servers. NetXposure will provide quotes on a case by case basis for customers who wish to explore the Distributed Architecture option.
