PRWEB) June 02, 2011

The enterprise Digital Asset Management company NetXposure has announced an integration with the offsite storage service provided by Amazon. Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service) is a distributed, highly available and cost effective storage system that is part of Amazon's Web Services offering.

NetXposure clients are now able to configure, store and manage files and metadata stored at Amazon S3. This new cloud storage connection offers a simple interface for accessing files from NetXposure's Digital Asset Management system at any time, from anywhere on the web.

"NetXposure's Amazon S3 integration allows our DAM customers to take advantage of Amazon's popular and cost effective cloud storage" said Jason Wehling, CEO of NetXposure. "We are excited to offer this compatibility to our enterprise DAM clients."

NetXposure configured its enterprise Digital Asset system to utilize Amazon S3 as an additional storage option for clients. NetXposure clients can have access to features such as S3 update synchronization, so files and metadata stored on the cloud can be easily managed, browsed or searched as if they were stored locally. In fact, the NetXposure integration is so seamless that each and every change that is stored locally is synchronized with the original file on S3 to preserve version control.

Amazon's cloud storage is a popular choice for backup copies of asset repository files. The Amazon S3 integration makes it simple for NetXposure clients to backup all digital assets to the S3 repository. The NetXposure system allows for backup synchronization to S3 that can be configured to run daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly or to maintain a clone of a customers S3 asset repository.

"The S3 integration is just another example of NetXposure's ability to meet the evolving demands of our customers" said Wehling.

All communication between NetXposure Core and Amazon S3 is done securely over an encrypted HTTPS connection, to assure files and data are not exposed as they travel between NetXposure and Amazon. By integrating with Amazon S3, NetXposure offers organizations of any size scalable, reliable, fast, cost-effective data storage for their digital assets.
